Storm Water Phase 2

Adoption of 2 Local Laws.

On October 2,2007 a proposed Local Law No.2 entitled “ A Local Law to amend the Code of the Village of Elmira Heights to add a new Code Chapter 218,entitled Illicit Discharge Detection and Elimination” was adopted and enacted by the Village of Elmira Heights Board of Trustees at their regular Board meeting and after a public hearing held on October 2,2007.

And on the same day at the same meetings a proposed Local Law No 3 entitled “ A Local Law to amend the Code of the Village of Elmira Heights to add a new Code Chapter 219,entitled Stormwater Management and Erosion and Sediment Control” was adopted and enacted by the Village of Elmira Heights Board of Trustees.

The 2 Local Laws will take effect before the end of the year 2007.
